Women’s FA Cup: Lewes host Man Utd in quarter-final

Lewes are the lowest-ranking club left in the FA Cup.

And while they may be lowest in terms of league position, they are ahead of the curve when it comes to equality in football.

Lewes proudly say they pay their men’s and women’s team the same amount of money.

The women’s team play in the Championship while the men are in the seventh tier of English football and both play their home games at ‘The Dripping Pan’. What a great name.
