On Monday, an armed woman killed six people — three 9-year-olds and three faculty members — after ambushing a private elementary school in Nashville, Tenn. Police killed the assailant in a shootout at the school.

The mass shooting drew parallels to other recent school shootings in the United States, and President Joe Biden was among those who offered condolences to the victims’ families.

Also honoring the victims are the Predators. They and the Bruins wore Covenant School helmet decals during their game Tuesday night in Boston.

In addition, the Bruins will donate $10,000 to the Predators’ official foundation, which will attempt to support the victims’ families.

The teams also observed a pregame moment of silence in remembrance of the victims.
