  1. content creators are the hard side of the network, the most difficult to get onto your platform, and their content (by and large) is why people turn up.

    But, just like Piers Morgan their content can be incredibly devisive and so on occasion I am sure platforms take an educated view, and just shhhhh them for a while – however, this leans towards a specific kind of behaviour… Quieting out-and-out antagonists who try and game the algos with sensationalist views is ‘in my opinion’ not alltogether bad, but shadowbanning the voices of under-represented minorities speaking their mind about important issues is a travesty.

    As the algos are the social platform’s secret sauce they are notoriously guarded secrets, and as such there is no definitive answer.

    But, if creator’s content is driving the same level of clicks then maybe they need to look at adjusting their output…
